Practice Closure – Thursday 13th November from 1 pm to 6:30 pm for Protected Learning Time

Dear Patients,

All GP Practices in East Lancashire will be closed on Thursday, 13th November, from 1 pm to 6:30 pm for Protected Learning Time.  This enables practices to provide dedicated training to their staff and to discuss and plan ways that will allow them to improve services, meet demand and support the well-being of staff.

For all life-threatening medical emergencies, please hang up the phone and call 999.

If you feel your request is urgent and cannot wait until the following day, provisions have been made for urgent triage. Please hang up the phone and call 111.

For all routine requests for results, appointments, prescriptions, and general queries, please call us back on Friday, 14th November.

Alternatively, please complete an online triage request via our website, and we will respond within 3 working days. If you do not have access to the internet, please call us back on Friday.
